Modified GRF (1–29) · GHRH analogue research
CJC-1295 No DAC is a 29-amino-acid modified analog of the first 29 residues of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). In research-supply terminology, this peptide backbone is commonly referred to as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF (1-29).
The sequence contains four substitutions relative to native GHRH(1-29): D-Ala², Gln⁸, Ala¹⁵ and Leu²⁷. These substitutions distinguish the modified 29-amino-acid backbone from native GHRH(1-29) and are relevant to the compound's structural identity in laboratory research.
CJC-1295 No DAC should not be confused with the long-acting DAC-containing form of CJC-1295 studied in much of the published CJC-1295 literature.
02 / Research profile
“No DAC” distinguishes this 29-amino-acid peptide from the long-acting CJC-1295 compound developed with an additional albumin-binding modification.
The published DAC form adds a modified lysine at the C-terminus that allows the peptide to bind to serum albumin. That albumin-binding design was used specifically to extend the compound's persistence. CJC-1295 No DAC does not contain that additional DAC modification.
Because the name CJC-1295 has been used inconsistently across scientific, regulatory and commercial sources, findings from DAC-containing CJC-1295 should not automatically be applied to CJC-1295 No DAC.
Related GHRH-analogue studies examine how modified peptide sequences interact with the GHRH receptor and influence downstream signaling under controlled experimental conditions.
Research on related analogues examines structural changes intended to alter peptide persistence and susceptibility to enzymatic degradation. Findings must be matched to the exact molecular form rather than inferred from the CJC-1295 name alone.
Reading the evidence
Much of the published CJC-1295 literature uses an albumin-binding DAC modification. Those persistence data cannot be assigned directly to Modified GRF (1–29) without DAC; a universal half-life for the No-DAC form is not established by that comparison.

05 / Storage & handling
Keep sealed research material protected from moisture, unnecessary light and temperature fluctuations. Use the storage conditions documented for the specific compound, formulation and lot.
Solution stability depends on solvent, concentration, container and experimental conditions. Use a validated laboratory protocol; a universal post-reconstitution shelf life is not established by the literature summaries.
Explore the handling guide06 / Common questions
CJC-1295 No DAC is commonly used in the research-peptide market for the modified 29-amino-acid GHRH backbone also referred to as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF (1-29). Scientific and regulatory sources have documented inconsistent naming around CJC-1295 compounds, so distinguishing the No-DAC form from DAC-containing CJC-1295 is important.
It means the peptide does not contain the additional albumin-binding DAC modification found in long-acting CJC-1295. The DAC-containing molecule was specifically engineered to associate with serum albumin and extend persistence.
A universal half-life should not be assigned to CJC-1295 No DAC based on values reported for other molecular forms. Persistence can vary according to the exact peptide structure and experimental conditions, and data from DAC-containing CJC-1295 should not be applied directly to the No-DAC form.
